Now that she was aging, the fae was beginning to understand her feelings. Although expressing them was a little difficult, she understood them. Or, most of them at least. The one emotion she was still a little uncertain about was her feelings toward Mesec. That was her one emotion she didn't understand. At first she assumed she was ill, but now she was beginning to assume it was something different. She had a feeling that it had to do something to do with love, relations, lust. But she was a bit young, or so she thought. From the stories her mother had told her, it sounded like romance didn't exactly run well in the family.

As the fae moved further through the Basin, she halted. Where was Mesec? Glancing around, the fae had a sudden thought. Had he left them? Did he get sick of the Basin and the unicorns within it? What else could it be? It could be he was shunned because he had wings, but would his own father allow this? No, his own mother allowed this? That was some bad parenting if the fae did say so.
