Arah
Look in to my eyes and I can change your fate.
However the gold will haunt you forever.

The Impersonators last couple of weeks had been busy and very interesting. She had met many new characters, helped others, defeated monsters and had most recently received her magic. She had wondered out from The Basin again, ready for her next adventure. Only newly united with magic, she could still feel it, inside her very core. It pleased her to know that already she had used the gift to help someone else. It was still a huge rush to use the gift fate had granted her. The way it felt to draw the magic up, it locked her mind with others with a fine golden thread. She promised herself to always leave her mark in the minds that she altered. It was a scary concept, however she would always try to only ever use her powers for good. Or if not, she would be helping her friends, no matter how much moral the situation lacked. Arah knew that she was a true friend to those she ended up trusting. Golden orbs studying the Meadow that she knew all too well, a calm settled in her. It was here that she had met Roland, the one she considered to be her first real friend in Helovia. Now they worked together, on the front line of The Basin's moral and intelligence defence. They had fought, laughed and chatted together. In him she had the deepest trust and would not betray that friendship for anything.

The freezing temperatures of Frostfall had gripped the land of Helovia, and as Arah had guessed, Thistle Meadow had not escaped the cold. Everywhere was ice and frozen over. Her hooves crunched along the ground, ice soaked her feet and legs as it melted against her body heat. The doe guessed that she had built up a bit of a resistance to the cold after living in The Basin for the past few seasons. Oh yes, she still felt chills settle in her bones, the shivers of her body. But her winter coat and the tolerance she had, prevented her from being down right freezing. In fact, used to being so cold, Arah did not even think to turn around and head home, she was quite content to continue wondering and sort out her brain. Her thoughts were mostly on the deal between The Basin and The Grey. She had believed that they had done everything Psyche wanted, only it turned out that they were wrong. Arah of course blamed herself completely. There wasn't anything wrong with the contract with the waters and tension as it was currently. However if the Basin decided to attack then the contract would be void. Psyche had not instructed them to bargain in The Basin attacking The throat but it was too late now. They would just have to roll with it and break the contract she they feel it necessary. She would stick with The Basin no matter what, they where her family.

A sigh tumbled out of her lips and she paused in her journey, tired and slightly warn out. Her exhaustion wasn't psychical, it was all mental. She turned her eyes up, to the currently blue sky in wonder of how she would sort out her issues. The strange ivory mare knew that her issues would soon become sorted out, for she would see to the loose ends. It was not like Arah to leave things to uncertainty. Besides, after meeting Lakota and to a minimal extent Irrydae, Arah had decided that she respected They Grey now. Their members seemed to be very honest and loyal to their crusade which for Arah was fine. In fact it was how she was, honest and loyal to her crusade in protecting The Basin. That was why if frustrated her so much, to see those two Throat visitors entering the Basin like they owned the place. Nothing slipped through their defences. Every soul that did not belong in The Basin was treated as a threat and was dealt with accordingly. In fact, Arah was quite sure that those mares may even end up becoming prisoners of The Basin, which would no doubt piss the Throat off even more and with in days they would be crashing the boarders of The Basin.

Lovely.

She brought her eyes back down to the land around her, the eyes that knew so much. It was with her gaze that she haunted so many with. Did she despise her strangeness? No. On the contrary the mare that was always so full of life loved being odd. This way she really knew who respected her and actually did want to befriend the antlered mare. She wondered if she should now return to her home, she knew that no one was around missing her. However if duty called and she wasn't there hell would open up, reach up and grab ahold of her, before dragging her kicking and screaming to the depths of a red fiery death. Arah shivered and looked around the land to make sure there where no hellish cracks forming in the ground. After studying the area she felt calm that she would be remaining where she loved a while longer. After all it would be such a pain in the ass to move and try and make new friends again. 'I wonder if the dead are friendly?' her mind fell silent for a second as if shocked by her current state of idiot. 'Of course the dead aren't friendly...their dead.' She knew that the basin currently had an undead member, which was not only creepy, it was down right petrifying, Arah was still praying that she would never run into the foul creature alone.

She had been standing still for too long and her body had begun to feel the cold more than ever. She reached into herself and felt her magic still fluttering around her very core, her very essence and grinned. She always felt alive, knowing that kind of power was still alive in her. Walking slowly, with poise and graceful steps, the spy of The Basin was still just quietly thinking.

And I ain't afraid to die, I’m afraid of going to hell.
