V A L E N T I N E

This fantasy, this fallacy, this tumbling stone
Echoes of a city that's long overgrown,

Your heart is the only place that I call home,
I cannot be returned.

The nightmares were far from a blessing, but he could feel himself waking up. It had to have been days since he was trapped in wretched sleep, filled with his family dying over and over, along with reliving his own parents and uncle's death. He even felt the pain of his disease fill his intestines, and he squirmed as he could feel like he couldn't breath again. He felt his body breaking down, almost as if maggots were sinking into his flesh and eating his alive while he was lying on the ground. He was always screaming while he was asleep, and anyone who found him like that was either probably amused or scared off. But finally, his torture from d'Artagnan was over, and he awoke, scared and disturbed. He would like to tell that psychotic doctor a thing or two, but he couldn't even see straight.

He tried to stand but failed, and it was then that he felt his wounds opening. He winced in pain, and he felt like shit. He was sore everywhere, his joined inflamed by the Hemlock "medicine" that the hell hound had place inside of him. His shoulder was the worse, as all of his others bruises from Elizabeth had started to heal, but it was apparent that they were still there, for it still discolored his grey skin. The chill of the Aurora Basin told him the it was Frostfall now, and he now knew he had been here all of Orangemoon. For so long he had been trapped here, and it would be nice to escape, to get back to his rightful herd land.

Within the next few minutes, he would be able to experience that freedom, for his guard and another had a contract for him, which when told, he would gladly agree to.

OCC: Gah this sucks, sorry. Hopefully will get better

"blah blah blah."

It was time.

d'Artagnan would much rather kill the coward who had now signed himself to the Throat. Yet, the order given for such a thing would be highly unlikely and the stallion had no wishes to hang on to Sno's pet forever. However, there was a question of what the bastard knew and that knowledge, unfortunately, gave the desert rats another advantage. Like they needed more. He had pondered the matter over night and decided he needed help from another, one of the Basin's intelligence might know a good way to per say erase the brutes memories. Though, the Nightshade hardly knew Faelene and so when lips lifted to the morning sky he called for another. A phantom who was sparkling white in colour, the mare he had found in the Threshold and the mare who was slowly making a name for herself. As he recalled, she had antlers instead of horns and a now proven loyalty that the shade admired. When he had first brought her to the Basin, he admittedly had not thought much of her meek presence. Yet, the femme had performed in ways he could not of envisioned that day. Clever girl.

With urgency and brusque tones, d'Artagnan called to the white mare who he thought might be able to help him. "Arah!" Came her name before he ushered to his hell dog and walked over to where Valentine was, his face like stone and his eyes hard as his mane whipped around him in the cold wind. His mind was already ticking, so far as he knew Arah knew nothing of the Plague and if she did have some way to fix this situation then d'Artagnan's reasons would have to be solid.

The Mender walked up to the pale stallion, noticing the angry wounds on his body and the traitors weary look. It seemed now was the time to repay his debt to the Earth God. For everyone he poisoned he must also heal. What a waste of time. Yet, d'Artagnan had no wish to be apart of another God's wrath and with great effort, ignoring the part of him that wanted to snap lover boys neck, he seeped his magic into his prisoners body. Purging disease and knitting flesh, it was almost harmonic the way Lord Time's magic gently flowed out of him and erased past events from the physical body. Mending it to near perfect condition and powered by the lifeforce of d'Artagnan himself. Casting his magic throughout the pale body before him as he lastly took the henbane away and knitted the final parts of flesh back together.

Wrinkling his nose, the shade lifted his magic from Valentine's body and breathed out a huge sigh of weariness. Aramis watched on, sat on his haunches next to his bonded, watching the traitor through stern aurous pools and a faint growl under his breath. Yes, today was the day Valentine could go free, but not until his meddling was curbed. "Stand up worthless rat, we have something to take care of."

It’s that though we learn from our mistakes we’re condemned,
To make those same mistakes
again and again.

Legs were sore from keeping up a steady trot from patrolling the borders. Nothing was out of place, making the ivory doe in a rather good mood. The pace she set now was slow, her mind was settled on some rather deep thoughts. The tension between the Throat and the Basin was unnerving, however she was glad that it was now out in the open. Now she could discuss it, if necessary, with other members of her herd. Still, she had been keeping to herself lately. Not many had proved themselves loyal to the Basin, making her weary to talk with them. In the end she only really trusted Roland and her superiors. Which was what made hew pause as d'Artagnan's voice rang out calling her. Frowning she turned immediately and walked towards him. It took only a few minutes before she appeared behind him and the prisoner. Elegant and long strides brought her directly to the side of the time mender. Her eyes settled on the swine that lay on the ground. She knew who this was, the rat, the traitor. Still she did not fully understand why he was being treated as badly as this. What he had done must have been a pretty major mistake.

"d'Artagnan." She said simply. Turning to look at him, her bowed her antlered head in his direction as a sign of respect. She didn't know what he wanted from her, but she shivered with worry mixed with anticipation. It was surprising, since she had joined the Basin she had slowly become a mare of little words. The only difference apparently was when she was at a herd meeting, feeling annoyed at the amount of trespassers the Basin had recently experienced. She turned back to the worthless bit of scum on the ground. Fiercely loyal to her current home, Arah would do just about anything to keep it safe. Her soft voice tumbled from her chops. "What do you need Doctor?" She wasted no time in getting to the point. She was sure that the time mender would be appreciative of this.

Her harsh golden gaze bore into the prisoner. She knew what she could do with him, she knew what kind of damage she could cause. But what did d'Artagnan need or want from her? The need to know burned through her. However she kept her mask blank, she would rather keep her emotions and thoughts away from this prisoner. She snorted softly, her breath fogging up in front of her.

[[OOC note; Shit post.
Okay, so Arah is just going to blank out Val's memory, Tee doesn't want an alternate memory implanted (sadface). Arah is going to need to know the name (The Plague) and the fact that Valentine was apart of this secret society. She doesn't need the details of the memories, what he did, who is in it, what they stand for or anything like that. This will keep Arah from knowing really anything about the Plague and she will get to keep out of it, and the massacrists unicorns can sleep easy knowing their secret is safe from her and Valentine. Everybody wins!]]
And I ain't afraid to die, I’m afraid of going to hell.

V A L E N T I N E

This fantasy, this fallacy, this tumbling stone
Echoes of a city that's long overgrown,

Your heart is the only place that I call home,
I cannot be returned.

Swirling mists came and went, my body felt a tingling sensation as I was joined by my attendant, that of whom was adapt at guarding a broken soul and body. It was partially his fault to begin with, but now his magic of time that was given to him by the God of Spark flowed through my veins and organs, patching them and giving them rebirth. It was the health that I now processed that brought my mind back to me, the nightmares and scream still reverberating through the channels of my consciousnesses. I was told to stand, and I did not refuse, raising to my feet on shaky legs. I had been a prisoner for much to long, and I was broken now, not even attempting to flee. I could not even lend myself to look him in the eyes, for I felt that I was not worthy of seeing such a sight. How had this come to be? Whatever he wanted of me now, I knew that I could not resist, and I would take the beating. I just wished it would be over, quick enough so that I would feel no pain.

Death would be a blessing now, but I knew that he could not kill me, for some how I would not let him. It was almost as if I wanted to stay alive and continue torturing myself, but I had to live, I just had to. Aiko. Cherie. I couldn't die thinking of them, they needed me. The Throat was my family, and I hadn't been there long enough. In twelve years, I had never felt so at home, so loved, so accepted. Was this how it was going to end, by being slain in the crystal snow, my limp grey body fallen on the ground, lifeless as the snow took my body as a frozen treat? I couldn't stand the thought, and though I wanted to say something, I didn't. I just stood there, head down as he called for a mare, and she appeared. From what I could see, her hair was long, and she was of a whiteish coloring, but I looked no further, preferring to let the icy wind whip at my red bangs.

OCC: Apparently random first person xD So he's not going to resist, just sit there and be a submissive weirdo

She was quick to respond and the shade nodded to her in short greeting, happy at her brisk attitude. It seemed he shouldn't judge everyone by first appearance, Arah was indeed proving to be more and more useful everyday. Carefully considering his words, he paused before his instruction, it was a delicate matter and the Mender wanted to make sure he did it right. Finding the right words and trusting Aramis to watch Valentine, he turned to Arah with searching eyes, ears directly forward and confident. "I have a question to ask of you, since intelligence seems to be your forte. Our little prisoner here has dabbled where he shouldn't have dabbled and knows more than he should. I ask you, for the sake of the Aurora Basin, do you know a way to remove all the information he knows about a group called The Plague. Valentine here was once considered apart of this faction, but has since turned traitor and started begging before Kri." He paused then, watching her face carefully for any signs of resistance before continuing on to his final words.

"I also beg that you yourself do not seek out information about the group that call themselves The Plague. As your fellow unicorn brother, this is for your own safety." His gaze bored into her features, begging her not to ask him more about it. If she found out too much, d'Artagnan would have to kill her. That was something he did not want to do. Finally, he took a few steps back, neck arching with a questionable expression. "Can you do it?"

By this time Valentine appeared to have gotten to his feet, though he said nothing. Good. Aramis watched the white stallion like a hawk watched a mouse. Ready for any command his bonded gave him, for the hell dog also knew that if anything went wrong, it would be his job to deal the death blows. It was a difficult and tense situation, but if all went to plan, then the Nightshade could finally set free the worthless piece of meat before him. No longer would he be bound to his idiotic life and his mind could finally rest a while.

d'Artagnan remained at a distance, watching and waiting for the Impersonator to respond and the events to play out. Mismatched eyes calculating and piercing.

[ack ack ack sorry for the wait and it's short >< But I didn't want to hold this up any longer <3]

It’s that though we learn from our mistakes we’re condemned,
To make those same mistakes
again and again.

She listened to every word he spoke carefully. There was no room to be playing around, her orbs never left his. Her gaze was stone cold, and face was an expressionless mask. However she did feel a tingle of excitement as he mentioned the rat's memories. She didn't speak straight away though wondering how it was best to describe her ability. She would be able to help him, do exactly what he needed to her to do..but why? What had this scumbag seen? She couldn't help it, her eyes flickered down to the traitor on the ground. She looked over his body and wondered what was hidden behind those red pupils. What was her family keeping from her? Most of all why would removing this stop the Basin's destruction? Arah knew full well that she was bound by duty to serve the Basin in any need, even if she didn't know why. Her eyes found the Menders again and she transformed her face to hold a smug smile, in order to cover up the curiosity and questions burning around inside her. "Do you believe in luck doctor?" She asked seriously. "I have the ability you need." A slightly crazy giggle tumbled from her lips. "I'll remove his memories of this..." What did he call it...Plague? "Plague group."

Arah wasn't stupid. He said ask no more. So she looked him dead in the eyes before nodding her head. She would ask no more, no matter how much she wanted to. Suspicion raised in her but she looked away before he could see it. "Can you do it?" this caused another giggle to tumble from her lips. She removed herself from his side and walked over to the now standing prisoner. She ready herself by taking a deep breath and summoning her magic. At first she stroked it gently, waking it up from it's slumber. Then the power rose with her, and Arah new she was ready."Traitor!" She spoke to him loudly and caught his eyes within her golden gaze. There was nothing the rat could do. He was locked into her eyes, the magic was holding him within her gaze, his memories now was her toy. The world around them seemed to freeze, the only thing that mattered to both of them was their locked gazes. Like partners on a romantic trip admitting their love for each other, The rat would not be able to look away. She had become his mistress.

Her entire body had changed, she was relaxed and calm, in her element. A smile played along her lips as she wove her magic around Valentine's mind and her own. Then softly, as quiet as a whisper, she spoke to him. "The Plague, it is not real." She smiled, her voice was confident. He would have no choice but to believe her. "Forget everything you ever believed about them, it never happened, in fact nothing ever happened, for all you can remember is a blackness." A deep breath to collect herself, her gaze did not break though. "All you can remember, is a blackness whenever you try to think about the Plague. Because they are not real, you will never need to speak or remember the group, because it's not real." Repetition worked well. Drove the message home.

She was finished, positive that he would no longer remember anything about this group. She blinked once and the world around them rightened as their gaze split. "That was a huge thing I made him forget, he'll be confused...might even need an escort out. But everything is gone, he'll never remember anything about your group." She chuckled, pride swelled through her. She was on a high from using her magic, which still swirled around her. Then she smirked at the prisoner and bowed her head towards the Time Mender. It was time to make her exit. Like a hunter walking away with a kill in hand, she strutted away from the group. She stopped after putting a fair amount of distance between them and turned back to the Doctor. "I say this with respect Doctor, be gentle with your toy. His mind is currently fragile and would not be able to withstand any torture." She smiled and glanced towards the rat. "Not that I really care if you choose to, by all means go ahead. However you'd be returning a tree stump to Kri." She dipped her antlers respectfully and turned around to continue on her merry way.

And I ain't afraid to die, I’m afraid of going to hell.

V A L E N T I N E

This fantasy, this fallacy, this tumbling stone
Echoes of a city that's long overgrown,

Your heart is the only place that I call home,

My mind soon became putty in her hooves. It was squished and squashed, melted and frozen, stretched and cut. I could feel it all, and thought I knew it was painless, I thought my mind was being ripped apart. That was probably part of my euphoria, letting the workings of my imagination run off as my internal body cried for some unknown pain. It was broken on the inside, as if all the parts had been rearranged and the outside world just couldn't see. It felt horrible, and now this was happening. Before I knew what was actually happening, her words sunk into my brain, ripping everything apart. Her target words removed my memories of the Plague, and I knew that this would be my freedom with a price. All the memories of them, gone, so that I couldn't share my knowledge with the world after all. I tried to hold on to it for one last second, memorizing it over and over again, but in the end, it was to no avail. I saw it disappear, shatter into a million pieces, and then it was gone. With it the rest of my mind collapsed.

It went dead.

I was a marionette, floating around waiting for my orders. I felt like I needed to do something, but I was incapable of doing so without a direction, a movement from the world above to tell me what to do. More words were spoken, not to me I knew, but there was a word that triggered this puppet into action: Kri. The place that I called my home, my resting place, is where I needed to go. That my body knew, and that was in the direction I headed within the next few moments. It took my loose limbs a small amount of time to get moving, bending and unbending, almost similar to that of a machine. My legs pumped back and forth, springing into a slow and steady movement, as I turned around, and headed in the direction of the Dragon's Throat.

OCC: omg I'm so sorry, I almost forgot about this. I just wanted to finish it up, you don't have to reply, but now he's heading home.

"blah blah blah."
