We Found Wonderland - Spice - 11-20-2014 Didn't you calm my fears with a Cheshire Cat smile? Spice was a wanderer. Ever since she was born, she always wanted to go somewhere else. Though she didn't know, she was just like her father. Always wanting an adventure. He had not left her mother, he had been on an adventure. Wasn't that excusable for not being there for your daughter's birth? Who knew. Spice was a jumpy girl, just as her mother was when she was her age. But being Spice, kept to the inside of the fence, she was not allowed out of it. Her mother didn't want her to see the world just yet, keeping her hidden away, the only beautiful light they saw was the stars in the dark night sky, glimmering in her mothers eyes as they looked up each night. Pointing out shapes or new or different ones, telling them to get back into their rightful spots. Spice would sigh, her breath warm as it clashed with her mother's skin. This meant story time. Her mother would then tell her the stories of snow and sea and wonder. She would tell the story of how Alice fell down that rabbit hole. And how she found wonderland. Though her mother didn't say anything about if Alice was a horse or not, Spice decided to see her as a rabbit. And interesting form. She had never seen a rabbit before, only in her mind. But she imagined it as a blue color, like the sky in the daylight. It's eyes reflecting the stars, even if there was no stars to look at, that was what resided in the eyes of the rabbit. It would be taller with a kind smile, a small muzzle and stand on four feet. Her mother had told her that rabbits where good at hopping, so she suggested that as well. Hopping feet. She didn't know what they would like but she would imagine something interesting. The girl smiled at her odd thoughts, though she loved them, she agreed with herself that she seemed crazy. The definition of crazy was someone who didn't look like they knew what they where doing, living a life of thoughtfulness, although fear of which they will be eaten alive by something that only they can see. Well, that was what Spice's mother had told her on that one particularly starry night. She had listened to her stories for half the night, it felt. Spice loved that night they shared. It was wonderfully perfect. And she wished she had her mother then. The regret weighing her down, stopping her in her tracks. She was in a white-covered wood. Every time she took a breath a puff of cloud would rise up in front of her. She whinnied happily. Continuing to breath, she watched the cloud appear and then disappear over and over. She liked this. She liked this soft crush of snow under her hooves, she liked the chilling feeling of cold on her body. She liked how it stung her eyes if she kept the open for too long. She liked the way...She liked the way that she felt when she was standing in this stuff. It was perfect right there in that moment. She felt like she could stay there forever to savor the perfect moment. Her mother wasn't just making that all up. RE: We Found Wonderland - Bucephalus - 11-20-2014

She had watched the glimmering snow, moving her head from side to side too see it shimmering, blue and silver sparkles seemed to dance on the top layer of snow. She smiled, and before she could even look surprised, she noticed the stallion. He was tall and dark, his wingtips where...Wait a second! He looked like her! Another Pegasus. Her mother had told her when she had asked about others, that there were some without wings. And some with sticks on their heads. The filly had laughed at such a thing, because what crazy equine would have a stick rising up out of their head? But now that he saw this Pegasus, she thought differently. Was her mother just kidding about that? She surly wasn't lying about the snow. It was all over the place. Spice liked it, the different shades and sounds and feels and smells. The air smelled clear, other than the other. He had asked her a question, she nodded though that would be a lie. She had never seen this stuff in her life. "No...I have never seen snow before. But I love it." She didn't know to address him by sir or not. Maybe Mister? She smiled at the markings on his eyes and wings. So different, the girl wished she had something like that...Maybe she could paint her own markings on herself. That would be wonderful, different...Extraordinary. "Hello..." This was when another walked up, seemingly distracted by something else on the male's legs...She nodded at the female after she introduced herself. "Hello, to both of you. I am Sage. But please call me Spice." She smiles, it was warm and something different on her lips. It felt like she hadn't smiled in forever, she needed a reason. Here was a reason. Though the filly was curious to what a world's edge was, she only cocked her head to the side. Thinking back to the homeschooling-like thing her mother had said about being polite. She then wondered why she would have to learn that stuff if she would never meet anyone else. It seemed as though her mother would have kept her hidden away for as long as she could. "May I ask what a World's Edge is?" She didn't want to be rude, and couldn't read the expression of the female that well. Gosh, what if it was really obvious? She probably looked like a fool. The World's Edge, in her mind was the world. Everything she had seen so far cutting off into a dark abyss, the pit seemingly endless and the darkness seemingly infinite. Though this was probably not what the mare meant, because she said she was from there. Who could live in an endless pit and infinite darkness? Not Spice. ooc;; Hi! I love the markings on Bucephalus, and the illusions idea with Jahzara. So creative, and simply wonderful. c: <3 RE: We Found Wonderland - Bucephalus - 11-20-2014

RE: We Found Wonderland - Spice - 11-22-2014 Didn't you calm my fears with a Cheshire Cat smile? The first thing the girl noticed, was that they both had peculiar names. Although, she shouldn't be talking as her mother would say. Spice had only known two other names in her lifetime. Hers, and Mother. Now these two. They were honestly, both beautiful names. Interesting and just so different Spice had to hold herself from asking what they even meant. But when the girl heard the word Dragon she dealt even more scared than when she heard about the World's Edge. They both sounded scary, but Dragons... Oh, the stories she was told about Dragons. Always so...Fiery. She hoped there where no dragons here. Where ever here was. "Are there dragons...In Dragons Throat?" She asked, a bit timidly. But before she could get a reply, a ball of white fluff was hurtled at her. It hit her in the shoulder, planting a cold burst where it hit, the coldness spread. Her body. She loved it. She loved this feeling. She looked over at the smirking mare, and although she didn't seem like the kind of horse to start too much fun. Although, the smirk in her face was telling Spice otherwise. She had already been rolling up another to flick up at Spice. The little filly whinnied, her head tossing. It wasn't a graceful toss, it was a wild one. Hair flying eyes crazy and fun. The snowball hit her in the chest. It was so cold, and perfect. Spice loved the cold. She had decided on that. She then bent over, muzzle down in the cold snow, rolling her own little ball, she flicked it up at Bucephalus, a little whinny erupting from her chest into the calm atmosphere turned playful and exiting. Her emerald eyes blinked several times before adjusting a gaze if stern, though challenging glaze to them. ooc;; Hi! This was mobile, sorry for any horrid spelling! @[Bucephalus] @[Jahzara] RE: We Found Wonderland - Bucephalus - 11-25-2014

I give it all my oxygen, To let the flames begin. To let the flames begin. Oh, glory. Oh, glory. This is how we'll dance when, When they try to take us down. This is what will be oh glory.
She nods to him when he explains that it's a metaphor. What is a metaphor? She didn't ask, because why look so stupid in the first place? She'd come off as...odd. Well, she guessed that many did coming to this land, as did these two when they first arrived...probably. The foal was merely guessing about this. All of a sudden, in her pondering, she was hit with fluffy white snow, the mare beside her as well. She hadn't noticed what was happening because she was too busy thinking right then and there. Goodness. Is what her mother would say. She smiled, laughed even. Then stood, stretching a wing out to brush some snow off the other mare (if there was help needed), then she helped herself, shaking violently, she smiled when she stopped, looking up at Buce when he spoke. "Oh! I don't know..." Don't like dragons...even though there aren't any...hm... "Maybe I'll come later, I want to explore these lands of...Heloiva." She says, looking to him with emerald eyes that said sorry. "Sorry, I just feel like I need to know Helovia before I find a home for myself." She said, though unknowing, that she would join the Throat soon with a new friend, and meet many others afterwards. Shunning happy thoughts of her mother and more. She was so oblivious to the future, it's kind of funny.
