It is believed that the mare had come from a descent of Thoroughbreds. Though if she did, she would've been from taller horses for she stands at 17hh. Her bodice is inky and dark, as well as her mane and tail. Peering from her shadowy visage is a pair of emeralds that are fitted into her elegant skull. A sharp horn juts out between her eyes, a striking jaded sword that is like a beacon from her dark figure. Her long limbs are also black with one exception. Her front right leg is a also a green color that fades back into black just above her knee. A distinct characteristic that does not make her a bland shadow among the crowd.

Jadelyn naturally has a calm demeanor, she hides her emotions a lot and it is unknown why. She is quite the friendly fellow and maybe even a little dependent, as she never really enjoyed to be alone. She is intelligent and craves to learn, and if she finds an individual she is quite close to she will become quite the loyalist towards them. She tries not to get herself into too much trouble or drama, but if she is ordered to do something she will do it. She doesn't enjoy conflict and she just wants to help others out. Generous and a kind soul, she is a walking shadow and just wants to live the life of peace. She may be a little clingy, and that could be a flaw, but she doesn't mean to harm anyone.

Luthar [ her father ] - a jet black stallion with ruby red eyes and red stockings, his horn is a blood red sword that has scarred many individuals. he is infamous and known for stirring up conflicts and siring many foals, but only caring for his colts so they join his army. the fillies he could care less for and only hope they carry on his bloodline.

Cezanne [ her mother ] - an ivory mare with emerald green eyes, the scar on her hip was what luthar gave her. she was no help for him and he did not care when he left, not until he realized she could have birthed him a strong son. he sent a few henchmen to track her down while he continued his evil deeds. when he realized that she only birthed jadelyn, he decided to take her again and try to see if she would produce a son. he told a nearby herd to take care of his daughter and take her in, just as a favor for cezanne. she's definitely alive, but extremely far away.

All Jadelyn has known was her mother, a pure white unicorn with green eyes. She was the most beautiful mare Jadelyn had ever seen, except there was an ugly scar on her left hip. Her mother never talked about it and Jadelyn never questioned it, she only thought that it made her mother looked like a warrior. The two were practically stuck by the hip, they never left each other's side on their adventures. There wasn't really a current goal, just to travel, have fun, and meet new individuals! A lot of the times the horses they met were quite nice and sometimes offered them shelter, Jadelyn would make friends but in the end they never temporarily stayed. She never found it odd though since it was just her life style. When Jadelyn was around two years old, a dark stallion approached them and she realized he wasn't all that nice. His voice was oddly deep and his eyes were a crimson red, his horn was sharp and twisted. He had a conversation with her mother and for some reason she does not remember, all she remembers was running and then collapsing into a dark forest. She woke up the next morning with horses surrounding her, ones she had never met before. She immediately asked for her mother, and they did not know where she was. They only offered her a home and she accepted, but this time she didn't leave as quickly as she always did. Everybody was quite nice to her, but she had always missed her mother. For some reason she still remembers that intimidating stallion. When she nearing the age of three she said her goodbyes to her small herd and left in search of her mother. She believes that she is still out there, or perhaps the strange stallion knew, and now she has found herself in the lands of Helovia. She thinks that if she joins a strong herd and makes enough friends that they will help her look for her mother.

Her mother always smelled like roses, so she naturally enjoys that scent. The lands she was born in always smelled like petrichor, and for some odd reason she remembers that smell too.
