Psyche's father was Riekahn, and was widely considered to be mad. But her entire family is extremely racist (except Paladin, the traitor) so it's no surprise that her goal mimics her father's.

The 'you already knew what was in store for you' was a reference to the fact that it was an open/joining thread, but that Leander had already plotted to join the Throat.

The name 'Leander' has been given to many ships in reference to this. One night however, he was caught by a God and pulled down the bottom of the sea. Once she realized this mistake, he was given an amulet I think, so that he could never drown. But in another reading of the poem, he does in fact drown.
But I suppose you can pick your own title now, you certainly made that look easy. - As a leader, Leander gets a legendary title, but hasn't chosen one yet. Made that look easy = The time that character was created, until his ultimate promotion, was very quick.
