It was a strange world that Morenth found himself in. With so many things he would've deemed impossible a few short weeks ago, he was finding it hard to believe that they were becoming...normal. If he ever returned to his mountains, there was little chance that his family would believe what he was to tell them. They would have laughed at him and say he was ill of mind. If only that were the truth. He had questioned his own sanity many times since arriving in the Threshold, but slowly began to realize how useless it had become. Winged horses, no horns, horses who could shake the ground and form fire out of thin air...and Gods!
Morenth shook his head in mild disbelief. And to think that he thought his life was boring, it had done a complete one eighty since then and landed him straight on his head. In an attempt to form some semblance of normality in his life, Morenth travelled through the tall, ancient trees of World's Edge until the scent of salt filled his nostrils and the faintest sound of rolling waves greeted pricked ears. He liked to travel, to be on the move and while it was nice to finally have a place to return to, Morenth had grown used to being on the move, travelling from one place to the next and the next. It was a luxury he savoured for it was once a forbidden fruit.
The trees around him began to thin out and the rolling slopes of dry grass became more prominent until even that ended in golden sand. An expanse of vivid blue shot out away from the land, stretching well into the horizon beyond. The sun sat high in the sky with it's hot rays heating Morenth's back until a new layer of sweat appeared on his striped coat. The waves grew louder as he approached, the sand hot under his hooves. Within the sky above, sea birds floated, occasionally diving into the ocean or gliding to land on the sand. They were loud and their songs unpleasant in comparison to the birds who sang in the morning, but they were easy to ignore as the lull of the ocean drew Morenth's attention away.
notes: open to anyone! Just trying to get a grasp on him ^.^

Seren interstellar The ocean was a sight Seren had never, ever seen. There had been no ocean in her part of the Rift, where she had lived in solitude, only a few others about, leaving her past behind. The demons long gone now, and even though she had thought they had found her then the portal opened, she was wrong. Wandering the skin of Helovia was strange, but she found the more she learned the better she was with letting go of the past. Crysatius had been the one who had helped her the most, and she looked forward to running into him again. Yet she knew it would happen, even if she was worried he might be consumed by the very crystal he carried, in some way. She couldn't shake fears, and once an anxiety settled in her mind it never left. It was here though, to the ocean she wandered. From the scrub out on the soft sand, she relished in the sudden texture shift. Despite the dark she saw out from her left eye, her right drank in the colours... and her hearing, she noticed, was stronger than it had been before. Becoming accustomed to being half blind gave her natural senses life, and her hearing was the one she noticed the most change in. She ignored the sounds of the birds, they were simply winged creatures who flew on the breeze of the ocean; she listened to the sound of the ocean. She could see the brilliant blue before her, azure and teal, cyan and deep blue all rolling together. The scent was intoxicating, salt and water and sand, mixed with those smells of others who had walked this endless blue – but there, Seren wrapped in the bacchanalian sensation she felt rising from this edge of the world, she did not see him there. He, who was so brilliantly marked and has such bright eyes, she would have seen him if she were paying attention – or if she were facing the other direction. Only when the sound shifted and the scent floated into her nostrils did Seren turn her head, catching sight of him in time to not collide with him. She ducked her head down low, pulling sideways although shying away, anxiety flooding her mind as she looked up at him, her head still low. “Oh, my apologies... I did not see you there, I was so lost in my other senses... I'm very sorry,” she says, seeming to babble a little but she is meek in her demeanour as she stopped moving – some things would never change for her. @Morenth - Hope you don't mind Seren :D I couldn't resist <3 Morenth is <3333
