He couldn't help but feel horrible. Both fillies had talked and talked, but he could not. There was no explanation from him, or a single peep of a question. Instead, every little query he had would need to be figured out by himself or forever exist in his mind unanswered. At least the filly understood, she'd stop every so often to explain something, or to point out something else. So at least the walk back wasn't so awful.

It was a long walk though, he couldn't put his hoof on how much time had passed, but it was more than enough to time to think of everything. She no doubt would have to take him to someone... unless she was a very young queen. I mean, the only people that had greeted him were fillies. Maybe this was the land of children, and he could live in quiet peace for at least a little bit.

The walk though, finally ended. Sikeax stopped, telling him that this was indeed the Throat. Cerin gulped a little, nerves wrecking his body. He however, would not be afraid, so he raised his head a little and awaited for whatever was to come next.

Of course, to his dismay, this was not the land of children. A very large, official looking man walked up to them. He called her Sia, and questioned about who he was. Cerin backed up then, angling himself a little behind Sikeax. He knew her right? So he wouldn't hurt her. That is how Cerin figured it would be safe to use her as a shield. Another came from the sky then, a blue pony almost. She wasn't as impressive in size, and Cerin felt near her height. He wasn't as small to her.

Yet another came, he was a pegasus too. All these birds! The two that had arrived had gotten close to Sikeax, so now Cerin backed away from the group. This distance was necessary, he couldn't have them finding out just yet. However, the attention luckily seemed to be on the newcomers, so Cerin quivered by himself away from them. The scarecrow on his neck swinging lightly in the breeze. What would happen now? Would he be questioned? Or could he slip out? Cerin looked to Sikeax for a little help. He was more than afraid in this moment. One horse wasn't bad, but two extra ones... that was downright terrifying.
