What? Now he was downright confused. He frowned faintly as he listened to the colt, his confusion only growing. Kingdom? Did this little one think him some great king? The thought almost made him laugh. His more vain half preened; he was kingly looking. But he forced the amusement from his mind, exhaling softly. What was he supposed to do? This colt seemed downright determined that Bucephalus was his father. Although, Buce couldn't help but want to downright pummel the child's real father. To leave one's colt so young he didn't know what you looked like and mistook a stranger for a father? Deadbeat ass.

His attention focused on the small buckskin, and he lowered his head to be even with the colt's. A family. Sadly enough, he wanted that, but had downright now clue how he could be a father. His own was torn from him at too young of an age. But he couldn't leave the youngster hanging, let the silence go on. With a glance at the painted mare, he spoke. "I'm no king... merely a Crafter, a creator. But, if you'd like you could come to Dragon's Throat with me until your mother comes for you. It's a pretty desert at the Throat." He said, ears flicking forward at the colt. The Throat would keep him safe while Buce could try to find Levex's mother. He didn't know if the painted mare truly was from the same herd as his mother; things could have happened and the two mares at odds. He'd heard tales of mares going after others's foals and injuring them. And he'd be damned if he'd let that possibility even begin.
