The roaned mistress pranced through the snow, sending white clouds of powder dancing around her hooves. She was an elegant thing, the Andalusian mix in her blood showing through in her step. Yet she was no stranger to violence. The long scrapes down her barrel were a clear indication of that. She'd wandered into this land, not particularly looking for anything at all. She had no kin, no strings to tie her to any one place or group. Maybe she'd find some calling in this place, but it had not revealed itself yet. Apparently, she wasn't the only one batty enough to wander around in the snowy wilderness. Pale turquoise eyes caught sight of a white shape in the distance. Not snow, the form was too large, and moving. Flaring her nostrils, she sought for the things scent on the wind. Another Unicorn. And a boy by the smell of it. Frowning, the patched doe meandered toward him. When finally close enough, her pale maw fell agape. What the hell is he doing? Sorcha could only stare for a moment, watching the ivory stallion wander into the water. Didn't he realize that it was Frostfall? Who in their right mind would be wading so far into the frigid liquid? Was he trying to take his own life? With wide eyes, she leapt forward, springing into a lope to the water's edge. "What are you, crazy?" Sharp tones rang out. The Unicorn was an old geezer, maybe even the oldest thing she'd ever seen. It'd be a shame to let the ancient thing die, he'd probably be more interesting to talk to then anyone else around here. Reluctantly, the mare let one dark hoof slip into the water, followed by the rest, until she was ergot deep in the freezing cold. "You look a little old to be going for a swim." She spoke to the elderly brute, her voice still hard, but less so. Maybe there was even a flash of concern flickering through her cold blue gaze. [ooc: I responded! xD ]  |
