Distinct patrol units: I know we had the idea of outcasts wandering before, but I would like to implement a more structured version of this in which characters are given direct order to patrol certain regions (made SO easy with this new layout ;D). This would require your character writing posts in one of those boards on a regular basis, “haunting” the location so to speak, including not only wild locations but also the Basin (though I do agree with Jen, that the Basin is no longer the best of spots despite there being a tent of silence – maybe we can “sneak in” and use it for meetings but I don’t see it being the head of operations anymore. Maybe the Heart Caves?**). This has two general reasons, the first being that I feel it establishes a firm, militaristic feel to the group that the Plague should def. have. The second reason is that I feel it would be a great way to keep our characters meeting new characters, creating drama and dragging new members in at a faster rate.

Emphasis on spies: We need intell to realistically plot and have ways to *not* get cornered when we decide to start implementing our dominance. xD Basically I’d like more seasonal sneakiness on herd borders; this may mean our characters get beat up, but it also means more spars which means more VP which means it ultimately does not matter. ;D

Emphasis on spars: When you assault another character, kill another character, have your character drug into physical violence, ect., TURN IT INTO A SPAR/CHALLENGE. I saw so many threads with Plague activity that could have been VP and were not. :( And how are we supposed to beat Gaucho with no VP? Answer: we can’t.

Rebuild “family” feel: The main thing I remember about the Plague is that everyone seemed to know each other and know each other well enough to interact a lot like a family. As the group has aged and members have come and gone, that feel has sorta… faded out. I think we need to really work on uniting the members so that we can reclaim that close bond that was there before, that made for really stellar and dynamic interactions between the characters. Mostly this is just going to require writing them together a lot more and really putting our heads together to create a cohesive forward plot that keeps everyone on the same page.

Less emphasis on murder and violence: I know, I know. How can we have a racist organization cleansing Helovia of the infidels without violence? But I also have seen a large number of characters which could be brought in (like Lyn, for instance) who are deterred from the group because it doesn’t really have a place for their softer sensibilities. Kou was sort of an anomaly that I feel like there should be a lot more of basically, and that there are a lot more of if we learn to… bend our introduction speeches to have more flowers and less heads on sticks and shape some activities around not murdering other characters. xD Rikyn, for instance, believes in Rotheism, which is a unicorn supremacist belief system which allows hybrids, pegasus, and equines to live free of enslavement so long as they adhere to certain guidelines, and I have seen many characters, such as Ulrik, who hold themselves in a higher regard than the other races but openly interact with them, seeking to benefit off of them while ultimately plotting their demise. I think more passively racist/supremacist characters don’t feel welcome in a group that is *always* violence, and that we would benefit from more spies, more stealths, and a more active story telling community.

**Heart Caves: Jumping back to this. If you guys have any other suggestions, feel free. :D I know that several wild locations are frequented by what the Plague would largely consider enemies so I would prefer somewhere that *isn’t* like this. xD I also enjoy the idea of a public location because it gives non-Plaguers the opportunity to try and get a sneak in to overhear the plotting, which I honestly love because it creates SOMUCHDRAMA and drama makes me happy inside. However, we did make a tent and have it silenced so that we could have sneaky secret meetings – maybe we could look into having it moved somewhere, a rank position for tent keeper (sorta like the Plague Seer rofl gotta put that shit up and take it down every time we have a meeting)?
