Kind? How boring that would be

Tyrath was never lost, most of the time. Sometimes he got a little mixed up but wherever he ended up, he was supposed to be there. Who cared? As long as it was fun, and filled with everything and anything the colt could get up close with and examine. Find caves he could come back to later, or find a particularly interesting thing he could come back and tell Tiva and his carer's about later. Everything he discovered he committed it to memory, every inch and everything learned scribed away in his ever expanding memory.

Trust his brother to have some kind of witty, slightly crude response. Despite their youthfulness, the two were already bouncing questionable back and forths. "Oh yeah?" Crowned head cocked over his shoulder to better look at the lighter of the pair, as the sassy response reached his ears, face the perfect rendition of a deadpan. Cheeks huffed out with an exasperated sigh as he turned back to face where they were going. "Enjoying the view?" Making it a point to give his derriere a wiggle, not that there was much to wiggle in his brother's general direction. He probably looked like a plucked peacock trying wiggle it's flat ass towards a peahen hoping it had some kind of ass backwards allure. Come, look at my flat ass, revel in it's non-existence and plucked glory. More joke than future hunk of the year.

"I planned it, of course." He grumbled, glad that his brother couldn't see him go cross eyed with the lie, it wasn't technically a lie, he hadn't explicitly said that they were going anywhere in particular. Just somewhere, and this now happened to be somewhere. It worked out. Thank the gods he inherited his mother's eyes, with their unreadable swirling whirlpools of ruby and crimson.

He stayed by the clear pool, waiting for his brother to approach. Chest filled with building glee as he shifted his tail, a subtle motion, getting it primed to push his lighter coloured brother into the waters. Well, he would of, if the rock hadn't skidded out of nowhere and surprised them both. Nostrils flared as his forelimbs raised off the ground by an inch, surprise riddled on his skull marked face. When he realized he had reacted, he was quick to smooth his face over and stamp his dark hooves back into the ground, chest puffed up and chin high. "Those are fish." He answered, his own voice hushed. He had fought a wolf! how could he be scared by a rock flying into the pool.

Except, wolves were visible and made noises. He could see them, and he could fight them back. He couldn't exactly fight an invisible enemy. He couldn't admit that to Astarot either.
This rock had flown out of nowhere, skidded past the two boys and into the pool with an unceremonious splash.

"Secondly," He began, lips twisted into a smirk though he feigned innocence as to what his next actions would be. "I don't know, why don't you find out first." Tyrath turned abruptly, wings fanned out  from his sides and tail coiled to push his brother face first into the water. Not one to allow his brother the pleasure to try drag him as well into the waters, he took a couple big steps back. "Look out below!" The cry was the only warning Astarot got, before his elder brother charged forward and leapt, wings spread and into the water himself. A childish roar of laughter bubbled up from his chest as he surfaced, damp wings splashing out.

They'd find who or what caused the flying rock of mystery, it didn't mean they couldn't have some fun while doing it.
