I’ll taste the devil's tears
The Glazier watched as more came into the picture and began to take over, working to destroy the glass she had created. There was a sadness that burrowed itself within her at the sight, of the cracks and crevices, at the shattered glass that reminded her of the mess of their borders. A soft sigh escaped, but she allowed her glassy gaze to drift over those that had appeared. Little Maude was there and Glasgow offered her a dip of the head and a soft smile on her lips. “We are fighting these guys, Maudie.” She cooed, her voice soft and gentle toward the pearlescent filly.

But another captured her attention, one she hadn’t met before. The mare’s companion began to have tunnel vision toward a glass target, and part of Glasgow watched in amusement. Then, the mare’s vocals rang out and Glasgow smiled to her. “No need to worry, this is exactly what we’re doing.” She informed the mare gently, turning her attention to the others that had gathered. A few more of faces she hadn’t recognized filled the group until a caramel mare spoke to her King. Glasgow offered the mare a small dip of her head and a smile. “The Goddess has asked us to create targets and see which kind of glass is stronger versus different kinds of attacks.” She nodded gently along with what she said before Anzanie seemed to appear.

She seemed frantic, but Glasgow slipped past Tembovu’s side to the painted mare with worry lacing her gaze. “The Goddess has asked us to do this, don’t worry Anz.” She added in, reaching gently to touch the mare’s painted shoulder in comfort before moving away from her again as a tiny little shriek filled the air. Her head swiveled to the sound to find a tiny monochromatic colt rampaging toward the glass. The Glazier couldn’t help but to giggle softly at the sight before moving toward the small child. “Are you alright, dear one?” She questioned, tilting her head lightly – silently hoping her mocking scars and broken horn wouldn’t frighten the child.
