The woman didn't run like she was supposed to and that had Vlasi confused. Why? Was she not fearsome? Was she not frightening? Her barking and growling gradually slowed until she fell into silence and it just happened to be at the same moment that the woman lowered her head and stared her challenging stare. Each head tilted ever so slightly, the left one emitted a soft whine, while the center sniffed at Bellisma, and the right stared in confusion. This was not right. No one had ever stared her down before and even though she didn't want to be, she was impressed.

Vadim's head lifted and he chewed the mouthful of grass as he looked in the direction that his companion had run off in. Through their shared connection he could feel her confusion and he wondered briefly about what she'd found this time. In all honestly it really didn't take much to confuse or intrigue the rougarou. She always seemed to find something in their travels to marvel at and often it was something that Vadim thought was exceedingly plain or ordinary, so it was easy for him to dismiss her confusion as another silly Vlasi thing.

'She didn't run. Why didn't she? They always run.'

The question grabbed his attention and he sighed softly to himself because now he felt that he needed to abandon his patch of grass and find out what his companion was up to. She really wasn't that far away and he was able to find her without too much trouble, but she was face to face with a mare that didn't look too impressed with whatever shenanigans she'd been performing. He sighed again and shook his head and wondered if there would ever be a day where he didn't have to make excuses for his companion.

Two of the three heads turned to stare at Vadim as he finally stepped onto the scene. 'Ask her.' The rougarou demanded. 'Why didn't she run? I'm s'posed to be scary.' But Vadim frowned at the canine. "You're not s'posed' to be scaring anyone." He admonished, but scolding her was much like talking to a pile of rocks. His gaze lifted from the cerberus to the mare. "She wants to know why you didn't run." He said because if he didn't ask Vlasi would only start howling at him. "She says she's 's'posed' to be scary."
