For once, Mesec was completely alone. Lucius was off attempting to give Lyra a hunting lesson but if the squabbling and tattling that permeated through their bond was anything to judge by it wasn’t going that well. Since Lyra did not yet know how to speak, her interjections were mostly screeching contradictions to Lucius reporting that she had torn out his favourite tail feather or that she was a clumsy idiot who would starve to death.
Needless to say, Mesec welcomed the idea of working so he could be distracted from his companions.
By the time he found the winged stallion, there was another mare there with him - one Mesec recognized but did not know personally. But as he approached the pair, he was able to catch her name. A soft smile appeared in his silver eyes as he came to stand nearby, greeting them both with a nod so that he would not interrupt Raeden’s words. Only after she had finished, did he make the introductions. “Graasvoel, right?” He looked to the stallion, confirming that he had the name right, before his eyes shifted to the mare. “And Raeden - it’s a pleasure to meet you both, I’m Mesec - here to help however I can.”
