God of the Moon lady diamond in the sky The Goddess hears the call of the King, and a smile plays on her lips as the sound reaches her ears through the magical mechanics that make such things possible. Prayer, when you think about it, was rather remarkable. She could hear his thoughts if she chose. As she robbed herself in flesh, the Goddess briefly wondered if any of them bothered to think about just how private their lives really were. She doubted it. A patch of darkness appeared, and, as if emerging through a black curtain, the Goddess suddenly stepped forward. Though she was no where near the tallest in the group, her arrival demanded observation and her posture required respect. The delicate curve of her face was drenched in moonlight, and a soft sparkle shimmered across her folded wings and the delicate lines of her lilac body. She had noticed, and yet did not comment on, Alune's absence. The King had not qualified his prayer to her with absolution or justification for the Seer's disappearance, which the Goddess approved of. They both knew that he had been vacant for longer than they each had cared to admit. But now, if Tembovu was here for what she thought he was, that would have to be rectified. "King." She purred, eyes on Tembovu. "Queen." The Goddess continued wondering when Alysanne would finish her quest. Honestly, it wasn't that hard, was it? A smile tugged at her lips as she spied a new face in the crowd, as well as some of the younger members of the herd. For a moment her gaze lingered on Erthe, who had stormed away from her like a petulant child when she had rescued Mauja from his cliff. Still, she smiled, before looking back to the King. "I'm beginning to think you like my company, Tembovu." She purred again, her voice a melodic wind chime. |
