it has come to pass...

With the clouds avoiding showing themselves, NADIRA welcomed the warmth the sun bestowed upon her. The golden warrior introduced herself as Romani. A rightful calling, the unicorn mare thought. And her… companion? So that explained Comadre. These critters that clung to these other equines she was meeting were companions. She wasn’t quite sure if that was a gift or a curse. Having something always in your shadow, taking care of it she could only assume was a great responsibility. Something she did not need at this point in time. Not with her uncertainty as to where exactly she belonged. Having been thrown into Helovia with no warning hadn’t exactly been her cup of tea. So she would bide her time, and see how things played out.

Kasai was a little cuter than Comadre, but being the little dragon had been the first companion she had been introduced to, she had a special place for him, just like his bonded. Osiris would always be a dear friend. She was just grateful enough to have his company along. She could see it bothered him and for whatever reason, she wished she knew why. The white cub matched her coloring, except for the stripes that binded the little girl.

"Thank you, Romani. A befitting name to be called."

She was about to inquire of the lands and the herd life, but another trill rang clear as a bell. A sure sign more company to follow. She watched Comadre come to life and followed the creature to the long awaited meeting, it seemed, between the two dragons, contrasting in pigments. NADIRA glanced over at Osiris first, to comprehend his response, and he appeared to be startled and a little flustered. Out of his element even more so now. And with a quizzical expression, she turned her piercing azul pools onto her twin. Or so it the evidence spoke, except for the scarlet that inked the tips of the unicorn mare’s tassels. Her orbs too, were duo tone.

Intriguing, she pondered. So this was whom Osiris had mistaken her for. Besides her height, NADIRA could hold nothing against the wolf creature. At least the comparison was not belittling, but flattering to her. The milky mare listened between the conversation of the newcomer and Osiris, keeping with respect and curiosity. But something was missing. NADIRA was a sensitive creature, and she never could understand why she was susceptible to feeling the slight and most subtle uneasiness between others, but she could. It didn’t mean she could read thoughts, or automatically know what was wrong, she was not that gifted. But she was well aware of her surroundings, and took care to know these things. It had kept her safe. A superb quality to possess when you were hunted.

Slightly tipping her façade in recognition of the taller version of herself, she gave a warming smile. She dared not embarrass poor Osiris with recollections of his misunderstandings earlier that day, confusing one for the other. She would leave that for another day perhaps. When things were not so awkward.

"You and your silver dragon are most welcome. I am Nadira."
