Andash noticed the bird upon the dame's pelt, holding animosity towards him as it hissed and warned him away. The dame however, seemed to be ignoring such actions, something that almost gave a better opinion of her; well to Andash.

The voice of the duchess rang through the night air. Xira. Kye. So these were the names of the creatures that had suddenly been thrown into conversation with him. Andash paid little attention to the bird after that, he understood that it seemed to merely be a nuisance to introduction between himself and Xira. The formality of her voice, the way it seemed to be forcing out pleasantries, it was confusing, yet placid and in turn made him feel curious to know more about this strange, petite dame.

His daggers ached slightly from the weight of his burly mass, but he demanded to himself that he stay on his feet, holding his crown up high into the dark sky. Stretching his good wing to catch the breeze that ruffled his feathers slightly, the light bouncing off it, he replied, "And to you, Xira." He then looked towards the dame's crown, his azure pools glowing in the dark. "You are part of Throat's herd, then? How long have you been here, if I am at liberty to ask."
