"What the hell is on your head?"

A voice cuts through the shade of the woods and skips over the freckles of sunlight that streak from the canopy. The tone carries a heavy weight of demand, though it is lightened with an amused cord and is decidedly feminine.

Above the chocolate girl lounges Ampere, tucked in the height of the trees like a bird set to roost. Hind hooves splay along either side of a bough while forehooves settle delicately between. At her sides blue-fringed wings hang partially open, maintaining balance as the bough sways from time to time as her body stirs. Her tail falls behind her and past the branch like dark moss, while her mane rustles wildly against the leaves pressed around her face.

Ampere grins down wide and toothy like a wolf.

The tree groans suddenly as she launches herself from its grip, wings flaring out to her sides to let her glide down like a parachute, permitting her to land rather elegantly just at the side of Talianna. Ampere cannot often be described with such a word, but in the sky, she is a thing of a beauty.

"Looks like a bird crashed into your head and couldn't get out again," Ampere laughed, extending her nose to snuffle obnoxiously at the ornament on the mare's head. Her wings began to close loosely to her side, while the feathers along her coup flattened against the curve of her ass.

"And just what the hell are you doing standing around here anyway? Waiting for more birds to hit your face?"
