The ashen pelt was certainly taken aback by the striking moss colour of her pelt and the underside of her wings. It added character to the already unique petite frame of her, and it made Andash wonder why such a... refined, pretty little thing have a heart so manipulating and cold. It almost saddened him at the thought that she may once have held a heart to match her silhouette, but he pushed these thoughts from his head. A dame such as Xira was not to be compared to what had happened in the past; it was what he was looking at now, trying to figure out that mattered. Past personalities that had eventually twisted and turned into what was now the present day dame had nothing on what she was now. He calculated in his mind what it was she was hoping for from his company. He silently hoped it was actually for him, but he for all his handsome, tapered features he was still a nobody. He guessed that he was even below rank to her, and this made him slightly vulnerable. No chance would he bow down to her, but she did have some sort of power over him if she was superior.

As she spoke, her voice tingled his ears with the cold sound that bittered the sweet tones. The smile that played upon her velveteens was one of mischief and cunning; she was planning something. Watch yourself he told himself, being careful not to utter the words by accident for fear of Xira having the satisfaction of knowing she was probably winning something. He thought long and hard about his reply, intending not to mess it up or give her the upper hand.

"Yes, first impressions can always be mistaken," he continued, with a quick glance yonder before reverting them back to their initial place of gazing into the dame's olive orbs, "Well, let's see if we like each other's company..." his deep voice trailed off slightly as his orbs and crown too displayed features of a mischevious nature. He was actually, even though he didn't wish to admit it, enjoying himself. The dame was entertaining him in many ways, she kept him on his toes. It reminded him to be sharp, quick and witty, yet at the same time he was deeply enjoying the company of such a blinding creature as the mossy roan that stood before him.
