He laughed gently at her enquiry, he had not met many who held respect for him, a simple Soldier. It wasn't like he was high ranked or anything, maybe he got too lost in the whole hierarchy, maybe he should be respected more. He would think on that later, but for now he needed to answer Zdravilo's question and press on with matters that held more urgency to him. "No, on the contrary, it's nice to have company. Especially a pretty mare like yourself" he chuckled kindly through the last part, even though he was attending to important matters he never did drop his flattery tactics. Some mares liked it, some mares didn't, there was no real harm in it unless they were completely psycho. Then he'd have to make his way to the nearest exit. Zdravilo seemed like a mare who had the screws in the right places at least, or she seemed like she did anyway. It had been sometime since he'd had an actual conversation with someone that wasn't to do with recruiting. In the end, Descaro decided it was a nice change and he could watch the borders at the same time with little problem.

The warrior waited for her to consider his question, physical exterior a picture of patience, but on the inside he was dying to know her answer. When the words finally came they were not what he was expecting at all. She seemed to have more of a prejudice towards the Pegasus than any other and she didn't really elaborate on the equines. He pondered each of her words, deciding that there was some base there for him to sway her even further. To taint her mind and to tell tales of battle, maybe one day she would hear a different version and it would be up to her to decide which she believed. The stallion noted her question to which he immediately knew his answer to, there was no real difference between the pegasus and the equine apart from the obvious. They were both idiotic races that didn't deserve the accolades the world gave them. One day, the Plague would strip those from them. "I agree the winged vermin are nothing special, though a wise warrior would heed their few strengths. Ignorance can kill you in battle." He said rather shortly, like the thought of them had put a foul taste in his mouth.

Next he addressed her question with a dark smile through deepening suave tones, "Both and those unicorns who would seek to side with them. They have committed many crimes and to be mentioned alongside them like we're equals is sickening. We are the better species, our blood has always been sacred, spoke of in legend and song. We deserve to sit at the top." Descaro rather growled through the last part, not meeting Zdravilo's eyes whilst he gave the horizon a stony stare. He was normally short spoken, not offering many words and when he did it was like he had laced them in honey. However, this was something he felt strongly about and it showed through the tone of his voice.

It took a minute or two for his face to finally soften and he turned his smouldering gaze back to the golden patched mare beside him. "Wouldn't you rather sit at the top?" He asked in a much softer voice, he didn't want the mare to think he was angry with her for any reason as he quickly reeled in his emotions.
