MAJOR LANDMARKS

Imperial Palace; The Imperial Palace, based on the southernmost tip of the island, is a marvel created by unknown origins. Filled with arching, marble pillars and beautiful halls open to the warm weather, it is exceedingly beautiful and simplistic, built into the four-hundred foot cliffs. During times of storm, the family roosting within will withdraw into the northernmost areas, the warm caves that are cleverly 'hooked' off passages, and so wind and foul weather may not trespass upon their glorious bodies.

The Roosts; Fly just a few minutes and you will find yourself upon the cave roosts of the pegasi, where the normal inhabitants rest. Some have more grand, flashy homes built into the cliffs- a bit of marble framing, a curtain or two, while others prefer or cannot afford this luxury, and so live quite minimalistically.

Farming Lands; The land of cultivation on the flat prarie above the cliffs, special food native to this salty island rainforest are grown and tended to with utmost care. All is very neat and orderly; rows of trees, columns of berries and special, lovely-tasting grasses.

The Silver Wall; A grand wall of forty feet in height and ten feet in thickness, this wall was built to keep out the Quetzacoatls and other monstrous predators from their civilization.

The Untamed; These lands, all wild tropical jungle and marshes, are known to the pegasi as the Untamed, for many creatures prowl here. For most part, their cultured bird-horse friends are left alone, unless a pegasus is idiotic enough to venture past the Great Wall that protects their side of the island from such dangers. Then they are a feast and are highly sought after as food- very few survive.
