 An easy flight brings Onni downward, spiralling toward the waves of crimson and pale eggshell, her light blue eyes scanning the crowd for those she recognized. Standing in the position of her mother is Midas, and the shaman smiles sweetly. However, in the back of her mind, the painted girl is worried. Where was the short staunch mare she loved? Pale hooves clack upon the rough stone, the rush of air swirling the dusting of sand from her. Glowing brightly like the sun above their heads, the mare carries a feeling of summer to the meeting. From under the fold of her wing, the songbird Lyhty rustles out, floating in the air at her side as the shaman strides toward the gathering. Stepping her way carefully, quietly, listening to the words floating around the air. Words of encouragement, praise. However, with each passing step, the smile and thus the sunlight of the Illuminant dwindles. Onni finds her place beside Gaucho, the stallion she knew best aside from Midas in this crowd. It is slightly odd to think that one could know Gaucho, for he was a man of few and ineloquent words, but the shaman knew he possessed a large, warm heart, and, for some reason, respected her without question. Quietly, she nods toward the General, a brief and silent greeting, before turning her attention toward the new king of the realm - Midas. Waiting for the words of others to die down, the mare timidly raises her voice, pale face and eyes drawn with worry. "Midas, where is my mother? Where is Kri?" |
