i just want your strawberry kisses

She closed her eyes, feeling the warmth of the sun beat down upon her body, slowly evaporating the moisture from her pelt. She let her mind wander, though this time she was nothing making up mindless fantasies that in no way mimicked reality. No, this time she saw the faces of her sisters and her newborn brother, the one who finally pushed her to leave. Maybe she had been wrong in storming off like a sulking child, beating her fists upon the floor for attention like a spoiled brat, yet she had seen no future for herself there. She no no orphan, she had no traumatic past which lead her here, only selfish intentions and plans that had been thwarted by the birth of a single, male, child,

She sighed, rolling into her side and stretching out her limbs, though it was difficult to get comfortable with her prongs raising her head from the ground. Her eyes opened, glancing toward the falls where the stallion had gone, following her statement evidently, from her horizontal view of the world, she watched him enter the falls for a short while, water cascading down silver shoulders, stroking his velvet body with the embrace of a cold lover - harsh, yet comforting. Frigid, yet warm. Eyes half lidded, she found herself watching him for just a moment too long as he turned to exit the lake.

Pushing herself up to sit upright, she turned away as he moved toward her. Why did she watch him so avidly? Why was his dull, listless pelt so alluring? She told herself is was probably a mild concussion from her fall, thin she knew she had suffered no such damage. There had to be some reason he haunted her.

He spoke again and she glanced sideways toward him as he shook out his mess of ebony hair. "It's just a slight sprain, I twisted it when it got stuck. Nothing that won't heal on it's own. I don't need any bodies help.." She told him, voice slightly bitter. She had no reason to hide herself from him. It was a mutual dislike, and if he was going to mock her, she would not bother faking niceties. "Sit, won't you?." She requested with a gigh. His large size was intimidating when he stood close by, her body small and slender, and especially so when ,saying in the grass. "The grass is warm. It is a good day to just...sit." She smiled at her own words, reminded terribly of Terra. She had any excuse to sit around. So often was she seen in a single spot that Cheyenne had thought she had taken root and was drinking in sunlight like a plant. Terra and Djana would tell her to get to know the stallion, to at least get on so that they could avoid this awkwardness everytime they bumped into one another. She decided she would try, but she couldn't guarantee she wouldn't piss him off.

It would probably be intentional. She was already annoyed by his ridicule.

"Talk."
