Hocus Pocus
Felix was not particularly interested in what he was doing in the field, though he knew there was some sort of contest going on. No, the stallion was interested in the beauty of the place, content at just standing with half lidded eyes whilst listening to the bubbling creek and the sound of birdsong whistling in his ears. The sun was still rising, not yet at its peak, yet already the day was warm and he enjoyed the feeling of his pelt slowly heating as the sun beat down upon it, caressing his flesh like the tender nuzzle of a mother.

He smiled with a wide yawn before glancing around the area. Thin, white fabric billowed out as a slight gust of wind embraced him, moving about his body and causing his long mane to dance and bob in rhythm with the constant tweeting of the birds, his docked tail writhing to get free of the fabric that covered it for the most part. As he began to move through the field, grass licking at his fetlocks, he threw an irritated glance up toward the head band contraption upon his brow, that supported a springy wire and, upon that, a halo. It bobbed back and forth and was not a pleasant feeling. It was quite distracting, actually, and he found himself walking stiffly in an attempt to stop it from flailing around quite so much. The rest of his costume, a mock bow and arrows slung haphazardly between his wings, was bearable.

As he turned, he saw that he seemed to be facing another oddly dressed fellow who was cantering in his direction. He smiled, a wide grin plastered upon his face as he opened his mouth; "Hail, frie-!" His words were cut short as he simply stood, smile fading into a shocked, jaw gaping stare as the stag did not slow his pace. Throwing up his right wing to protect it, he felt the taller, more muscular creature slam into his shoulder, forcing Felix to stumble backward a pace. He winced at the pain of the sudden collision. Boy, was that going to bruise!

Had he not seen him? How rude! Felix thought, not quite realizing how he, in fact, was just as much a part of this game as anybody else. He was a pawn, and he had the ill fortune to be facing a knight. As Levi passed, Felix attempted to shift his hind quarters slightly to the right, kicking up his heels in the hopes he might catch Levi's hind legs as he passed. As his feet grounded, Felix turned 180 degrees over his right shoulder in the hopes Levi was not too far removed from his position and burst into a gallop, hoping that he might chase the bigger pegasus for a quick burst. As he did so, he hoped to lash out his teeth to bite down upon the gluteals of the more experienced fighter.

WEATHER - It's a nice clear and mildly sunny birdsong day, 10am.
SETTING - A grassy field that goes fetlock high, forgiving and not too wet. Some flowers and trees are around, a creek cuts through in one area near two trees

Felix is cupid, because He doesn't understand Halloween and doesn't like scary, gross things!
