The black and bronze stallion held no ill will toward Torleik. As always, the tinkerer would tinker, and he would not let anything (especially petty emotions) get in the way of that. Like all the famous scientists of the world, his one true love was the creation of fantastical machines, and everything else was only a distraction from a higher calling, the truth, the mathematical words of god! Well, perhaps not that drastic, but when working on a machine, he felt calm and normal - those were two descriptors he rarely ever had the luxury of experiencing.

Now, his powers were back, his metal wolf raised, and he had a small pile of metal ready for testing a new idea he had in mind. Well, that was until the beastly Torleik came blundering in, mouth stuffed with something that made his name come out funny. The stallion's ears tilted backward in annoyance, and he spared only the barest, irked glance before turning back to his metal, trying to recall his blueprints again.

Shiny gems then were suddenly spit out at his cloven hooves, and Ulrik furrowed his brows in confusion. What were these? The stallion raised a brow slightly. A machine? What did he need with a machine. Still, the idea intrigued him. Ulrik desired for his creations to traverse the world. "What were you thinking about?" he asked curiously, his graveled voice showing a hint of deep interest. "Why the stones?" He was not an artist... or well, not a good one. Everything he made was functional, mechanical and electrical.
