As you wander, your brain seems to work in snippets of time. Where are you? Threshold. Then a long break of nothingness and forgotten time. Who's that? Nobody you care about. Keep to the shadows and they won't see you. Then more lost time. When you awaken from your stupor, you're stomping a little carelessly into a meeting of pegasi. One brown with two wings. One gray with one wing. Damn. Certainly they must have heard you coming, you've crashed into just about every tree imaginable on the way towards them. If your bruises from latest fight thought they were going to heal anytime soon, they've just thought again.
You're quite a picture as you come upon them. Your mouth hangs open with drool falling down, your neck held low and your hooves grazing the ground as you take your steps. You're unsteady to say the least, hence all the crashing and falling, but miraculously you manage to stay upright. You've had a lot of practice. The very last tree you crash into as you come up to the pair scares you quite a bit, for some reason, and you throw your head to the heavens with wild white-rimmed eyes. A bass-toned whinny of dissatisfaction crosses your lips and you pick up your hind hoof to slam it into the tree. A loud thud echoes through the area and suddenly you open your mouth to speak. “What?” you demand rudely as though they've said something already, or perhaps as though they're staring at you. Nice entrance. You'll make a lot of friends this way.
