"Well spoken from one who's never had wings," Ampere snapped at Oxy, her head whipping around at his comment of grounded horse. Her teeth were clenched after she spoke, the boil returning to her thoughts as the three around her reacted negatively to her wisdom and demands. "Perhaps it was you who took her wing then?" Ampere asked with a threat in her voice, the plants beginning to pop and spark with more energy now.

Almost in sync, Dalibor and Africa both took a stab at her age and intelligence. Her head whipped back around to set her live wire eyes back on them, their intensity akin to the sun's vibrancy in this heated moment. Ampere's mouth was about to fly open again and make some half-hearted insult at how old they both were and how age addles the brain, or something - truthfully Ampere knew not how old they were, but wanted some retaliation - but then she noticed the bird on the one-winged's back.

Ampere froze.

Oxy's voice, rising in support, went unheard . Though he had a valid point, which she would have wholly agreed with, she was already pissed at him and too fixated on the Zephyr. The electricity surrounding them died down in her moment of stupor, but her body did not seem to lose any of its wound up crackle.

A moment passed, two, a life time perhaps. She lost track in that other world of eerie unconscious consciousness, but it all came thundering back to her quick and real enough. With a gasp, as if she came back from the brink of death. In that moment Ampere hated nothing so much as she hated Africa; a pegasus uncaring of her lack of flight and one bonded to a companion. Ampere exploded.

All around her the plants shriveled into themselves, imploding with blue sparks until they expanded as orbs of blue, snapping, energy. The pebbles and the rocks around her feet shot into the sky and shifted into lightning that came searing down into the spheres that were starting to buzz around each other. The converging energy met with a clash and a snarl of sparks, merging into one large mesh of blue energy that about matches the size of the Zephyr.

The ball morphed as Ampere charged forward, screaming like a banshee, wings flared and teeth unsheathed. She struck out for Africa, her anger wholly taking her on this maddening, rather pointless assault. Beside her that blue electricity had changed into a Zephyr like the mare's own, but it did not reach out to attack the creature she had bonded to. Instead it attempted to nip and snap and tear at Africa's face, harassing her like the bird it embodied.

Somewhere within the chaos Ampere found the breathe to scream something coherent, although perhaps it was not heard as such. "WAS IT DESTINY FOR YOU TO TAKE THE SOUL OF ANOTHER!? WAS IT DESTINY FOR YOU TO ENSLAVE A LIFE!?

IT WAS ONLY YOU, YOU MONSTER!"
And I am your reckoning.
