The form of the Goddess comes with silent grace, hoofbeats swallowed by darkness. A smile curved her velvet lips, as it always did, when she saw the Goddess whose moonlight had guided her so often from the heavens. Mild surprised might have widened her pupils a moment, as she noted the growing barrel of the lavender hued tribrid before her, curiosity sparking behind her aureate gaze, but it was a mere moment before she returned to her original intentions. Chiselled visage dipped regally before her, chin bumping against her pectoral muscles, a whicker of greeting escaping her.

The words she spoke calmed the mare more than anything else could, that she had the Moon Goddess' blessing to forge on with her plans was a comfort. Though fear still caused a shiver to tickle the hairs along her spine, confidence in herself grew. Fear of failure, of what failure would mean for her, for the Qian - it did bother her, trouble her like an itch in a spot that could not be satisfied. She held the gaze of the Moon Goddess, knowing that in that look, this celestial being would easily see all that went on within her.

"I will do my best not to worry." Her voice was a whisper, a breath, and with it she tried to master the concern she felt, to expel it from her, as she did most other emotions. Thoughts drifted to the Tuuli - were they so different in their cause? Perhaps their obvious atheism, and the fact that they chose lands governed by a raging tyrant, was what led to this destruction. Mirage's kin were all mixed in their beliefs, but they pledged themselves to Mirage, and with herself being an ally of the Moon - she felt there was a comfortable balance within the Qian, one that she hoped would be the group's ongoing fundamental strengths.

And there was the issue of endangering those she loved and cared about - for the greater good? What greater good was there when her actions would ultimately cause those who did not want her lead to turn against her, offended and angered that she might have successfully infiltrated their home? Nerves ran wild within her, but always she tried to steady them. Peering into the cool, silver eyes of the Goddess, the mortal mare did her best to calm herself again, but it was difficult for her. Only the fact that her kin needed a home kept her strong. With that curiosity glinting behind her golden eyes once more, she extended her nose towards the barrel of the Goddess, and kindly remarked;

"A mighty foal must grow within you; should it ever require a guide to the mortal realm, I would be glad to donate my time." And care, devotion, love. Not that Mirage thought the unborn child would receive anything less, being raised by the Moon Goddess after all. How the child was conceived did cause some speculation to cross the mare's mind, but she didn't think on it too much - this was the Moon Goddess after all, she wasn't about to be raped by some common steed. Her offer was sincere and even a bit hopeful, to be given an opportunity to show her devotion was something she never shirked away from.

She wondered at the divine creature before her, whether she would entertain the notion of conversation with a mere mortal. Mirage had asked for guidance, and had received it; truly she wanted nothing more - she was not foolish enough to ask for strength, or for guaranteed results, she knew that such things would need to be proven by the strength of her own character, and the loyalty and resolve of those who claimed to follow her. Akaith chirruped, clearly pleased with the sight of the healthier looking Goddess, her multi-faceted eyes swirling delighted lavender and turquoise at the idea of new life being born.
