It was so easy to irritate her little brother and set his temper to boiling it almost took the fun out of it. Still Ktulu would continue to be cold and distant. She had the distinct feeling that Ophelia would act the same way, especially after the colt's outbursts. Finally he said his name, but she was still looking at the cat. The flash of his eyes was unmistakable, but she still was not scared. She'd dropped her father easily with her magic, a smaller animal would no doubt be less of a challenge.

Another outburst came from Varath and Ktulu simply rolled her crimson eyes in response. "What's the matter?" She questioned. "Did little Varath get his feelings hurt?" Why was she antagonizing him the way she was? She couldn't exactly place it, she just knew that she didn't like this younger colt. Her younger brother. Her replacement. Ktulu snorted loudly and slapped her white tail against her legs. The sudden flash of anger set her on edge. The smart thing to do would be to leave rather than continue antagonizing the little brat.

With that Ktulu turned her back on the gathering and began to walk away. She had someone she needed to see about a little matter concerning the colt.
