You can't ignore this forever.

The voice danced about her ears and head. Toying with the inner monster within her. A scream of crazed, indignation crackled and spluttered from her throat. The visions so vivid and real, it was like she was there again. Kept away, under lock and key. They were there, the masked faces laughing, those terrible smiles mocking.

You're the monster.

There that voice was again. A tumble and trip forward and Micha fell to her kness, falling to the soft earth below. She didn't even know where she was at anymore. One moment, she was brooding, trying to keep the past from catching up to her, and the next, she was here. It was like it was taking over again. Micha was still on her knees. The memories dancing and gleaming about her eyes. "Get away from me!" The voice burned in her throat from the tears. Her face was streaked and dirty. She couldn't do this anymore.

But you must.

The voice was taunting, and was quickly follow by maniacal laughter. Micha settled herself onto the moist, dirt floor beneath the jagged dark pines. "Who in the hell died and made you king." She was laughing now, whuffing into the dirt, amazed by the puffs of debris.

You did. You're dead Micha. You have no mind.

The voice was smug. Micha screamed again and then laughed. She laughed so hard tears were falling from her raw and red eyes. "Why are you right all the time?" She said, half-crazed and still giggling like an idiot. Soon after a few moments she was back to wailing tears. Getting to her feet she stumbled a few more feet and she was by a pool, red stones glittered across the bottom. Her pathetic reflection staring back at her.

You must.

The cryptic voice repeated. Micha in utter anger and frustration reared with a piercing cry throwing her body halfway into the blood pool. "No. Kill me!" She wailed. Continuing to flail about in the pool. Water was flying in all directions and the splashing was loud enough to wake an entire herd. She didn't care though. She didn't want to live on. Not like this voice was telling her. All the threats that were in her past were going to come back, and she didn't want to give them that glory. She would not give them that glory. She plunged her head into the pool, desperately trying to inhale the red water.

You can't.

The voice was laughing as Micha pulled her head up. Wheezing coughs escaped her body and she was drenched in water. Continuously her body heaved ridding itself of the water Micha had tried so desperately tied to inhale. "The water was going to take me home." She whimpered. Her sobs down-graded to small, silent heaves of tears, her face visibly contorted in pain. She was so close, so close to being home. To not having to worry about them ever coming back. She would never have to face them again, not Alopi, Frecin, or Edbaro, they could never bring her back. They could never have her again. She fell into quiet sobs. She could hear the voice again, it came in with mocking laughter, knowing it had won again.

When will you realize? You're a dead innocent.
