not all who wander are lost

This desperation pushed her onwards, long limbs clambering, eyes sifting through the beauty of late autumn. She drifted through the cool, red-leaf embers aimlessly. She was lost to her heavy heart's bidding.

It was an evolutionary day. She knew something could happen, whether it be apocalyptic or just a lingering trifle and change the way she felt, turn her around and have her seeking something other than love. She was a woeful creature, spent on loneliness and tired of nobility. Anything could grace her skin at this point, and turn the tides in her head to pour in an all new ocean. And maybe a new ocean wasn't a bad thing, maybe she could grow out of her leafy life and sprout on a new branch, find something other than freedom. Even though freedom was what she wanted in the first place, Feuille found she was entirely dissatisfied.

On spindly legs, the mare's pace slowed and tragic eyes graced the sky once more. As they fell from the blinding beauty, she caught a glimpse of something more dashingly red than the nature around her. Her orange eyes darted to crimson-coated legs which were thick and toned like a muscular warmblood's, up to a jet coat, which to her withdrawn gaze, appeared murky and saturated. In an eye-opening instant, Feuille found she was half bone! Thick muscles and stark ossein warped half of this horse's body and only one saccharine eye glare right into the autumnal Jaune. In some sort of rhapsodic awe, the mare jolted into tensity, electricity blasting down matchstick legs as this demon uttered "Run."

Without a brink of hesitation, Feuille spun on light haunches, gaited stride making the run swift and smooth. The wind took full flight of her tresses, jewels bouncing in the frenzy. She was a swift blur, eyes as wide as a full moon. Adrenaline drained the warmth from her limbs. She staggered across the damp rot and fallen branches, she felt her heart pattering hysterically, remembering the cold demonic word that fell from bloody lips. Shock crippled her, and breath was the only thing she needed. In all her heart she knew she wasn't fast enough.
