Maybe it was the fact that he did not think himself worthy of friends or something as simple as a nice conversation. Whatever it was, it never left his thoughts. When his own mother and father was capable of leaving him as a young colt, what stopped the others? No, he had to stop thinking like that, even when his question still hung unanswered in the air. Time could change in a heartbeat and he would be ready for it. Bring it on.
