Windwalker Tell Me, Would You Kill To Save A Life? Why did the question hurt so much, even when draped with a smile and maybe concern? Maybe that was the reason why he felt so much for her, for he had known for a time that the chance of him flying, dwindled each day. Because of this, he did not wish to tell her his whole story, for in his eyes, it would just ruin the mood. "No. I can not fly. I broke my wing when I was just a foal and it never healed right." It was all he offered her as an answer to the question. He should tell her about how his own family left him as a result, but what good would come out of it? Nothing. He would rather treasure this moment as it were and not ruin it in any way. "Looks like we are eathbound together" The smile he offered were sincere, as to say that whatever would happen, they would have a bond that were hard to break or destroy. He offered also an insight to the way he wished to think about their fate. "But, as I see it, it is just that which makes us special. And I have accepted it, just as a blind blind horse accepts his fate." To be blind would be worse, he knew that, but it was still not far away. A pegasi that could not fly, ment that he was bound to never forget it as long as he still had feathered wings attached to his body. Sometimes he played with the thought to get rid of them permanently, jsut so he did not have to face it every second of every day. He had even tried it once, to break the wing that did not work. When he looked back at it, that may have ruined his chance of flying even more. Well, it was done. He could not go back, and for the first time in his life, he did not wish to.
