Windwalker Tell Me, Would You Kill To Save A Life? The kind of conversation they had, did both lighten and burden his mind. He did not wish his fate upon his worst enemy and now, as reality hit him, he realized that his chances of flying were greater then hers. But he still had not heard her whine about it the way he had. He swallowed hard as it sunk in. How was it possible to be as blind as he was? Of course he was not the only one with a problem or a fucked up past. Or even wounds on the heart that did not heal. Why had he thought that he was so damn special? Deep, brown eyes followed her as she let a sight out. Improvement. A race of their own. He wanted to ask her if she realized that they were at the bottom of the food-chain and not a race. In his eyes, it was a true miracle that they was able to wake up each day instead of rotting away in a ditch. He did not share his thoughts, though, for he knew it was in his nature to think the worst. To keep his mouth shut and his mind occupied, he lifted his head towards the sky, only to feel less important. It was too early for the stars, but the orange moon dominated as it always did this time of year. "What does your heart yearns for, my friend?"
