The forest was never ending to the mare. Life was never ending as well, every minute seemed like an hour, and every minute that passed by wandering this labyrinth, she was growing tired. Tired of walking, tired of keeping her eyes open, tired of everything. Slowing to a stop, her large hooves crunching the leaves beneath her, she lifted her large head and looked upwards at the orangemoon in the sky. A slow and slight smirk tugged at the mares lips and she closed her neon yellow eyes, just standing there, breathing in the air of the forest. She could smell an arrangement of scents, some unknown, some known, some she should be wary of, but most.. were strangely welcoming and gave her a bit of happiness in this cold shell of hers.
Her past was full with anger, lying, manipulation, and a lust for vengeance. It was time to move on and forget about what had happened. With that, she lowered her head and looked ahead and around. The forest looked like it would either lead her to a better, new life, or lead to her death. Snorting, she steps forward and began to walk in the opposite direction she came, hoping she'd happen upon something eventually. She hoped for a family, a place to call home. But she wouldn't show that..
After an hour or so of wandering aimlessly, she sighed through her nostrils and looked around, yellow gaze flicking about. She then decided to quicken the pace. Moving into a trot, she then moves into a slow and steady canter, weaving through trees and stepping over fallen logs. She would keep moving until she saw something, she was tired of traveling, she needed to get there today or find someone or something.
After another few hours, she slows to a stop and just stood in a small clearing in the forest, looking around at all the towering trees. Lifting her head, she lets out a soft whinny before she calls out, "Hello?! Is anyone here?!"
