This helovia was a strange place. A very strange place indeed.
Day had just broken and the sky was painted with beautiful colors, she found herself wandering in an area just outside of the coast. It looked rather... dead. Upon closer inspection destruction was obvious, and the sky suddenly took a dark bronze color, reflecting the murky, rust colored water, intermingling with the dark dankness of the trees. Curious, she moved closer, her step becoming increasingly timid and scared. As her body approached the water, the earth began swallowing her hooves. They made squishy, squashing sounds as she plodded as far as she dare go.
her eyesight was greeted by quite the view.
Before her was an entangled body. It seemed to be trapped in the murk not far off. Micha whinnied at it, her nostrils flaring with fear, the whites of her eyes beginning to show. What was this place? She had regretted wanting to be more independent now, wishing she had stayed with Arrane in the foothills, where he could protect her. Here, she had nothing. Not even if a buddy.
The body was that of a bay stallion, he was pure, no markings. He had no horn or wings, just a normal equine. The vines seemed to love his body, it looked as if they were feasting on it. Yet, he was so... lifelike looking. The gentle bob of the murky waters made him look as if he was still breathing an alive.
Maybe he was though. The thought frightened Micha. The steels who used to tease her told her stories of zombies. Re-animated corpses of those who had been long dead. They walked, and fought as if they had no mind. They devoured souls.
Micha stood there dumbstruck. She wished that she was in the foothills right now. Safe and sound. Here, she was so exposed. "Arrane..." she whimpered, knowing the only one she had trusted would not be there. "Africa.." She even murmured, maybe hoping her companion would by some miracle would fly over and save her.
Micha. You need to leave. Now.
