 “Run!” And so she does, skittering away as quickly as she could but turning back just as she reached the trees. When she looks behind her she sees Ill – her new ally, her guide, the one who brought her north. Ill faces this dark monster with fierceness as she stands proudly in front of her monument. That is the last image she has of her comrade as she jogs cautiously into the deep black. She travels aimlessly into the wilderness, through the snowy passes and into the forest. She hears screams and the wind carries with it some very eerie voices. No one seems to come onto the path she travels beside – instinct tells her to stay off the beaten pathways, if hunters lurk, that is where they will look. She keeps an eye on the road from a distance; hoping to see a familiar face. She doesn’t though, and continues on through until night settles onto Helovia. She’s in the forests at the edge of the Threshold, toying with the thought of going there in hopes of finding someone of authority or a warrior of some kind. She doesn’t know really – she is lost without the new found bond with the Basin. She’s been torn from it, torn from Illynx and what she was starting to learn. Bitterness will soon breed inside of her, but first she must experience the terror that is soon to unfold in front of her. CARS CAREENING FROM THE CLOUDS BRIDGES BURST AND TWIST AROUND..
