He gave his body a shake to get the water off, but two seconds later, he was just as wet as before. She was not here.. The discovery made him question his next move. Should he look for her or find shelter? He pondered this, as the sound of wings through wet wind, caught his attention. "Silas!" He greeted the Oracles companion with a smile, while his heart lifted into the sky. The black bird went as fast as he came and he turned to see him fly away into the grey carpet that now draped the surroundings. The world was a cold and wet place today, not unlike the days of his childhood. But he had survived it once before, so he would survive yet again. When her voice broke free of the rain, his whole face lit up and competed with the light from the fire. It soon faded though, as concern and almost wonder captured his emotions. "Africa.. You look so tired. What has happened?" He asked the words gently, but he could not conceal his concern about the state she was in. If it had been up to him, he would rush to her and do all in his power to make her feel better, but it was not in his place to do so. So he did not answer her question, but instead, met her halfway. His long neck brought his head closer to hers as he tried to read her face. "Are you cold? Tired? Are you hungry? I can get some food for you if you want. It will only take a second" It was not his intent to ask te questions so fast that she did not get a chance to answer, but he knew something was wrong and he wanted to fix it.
