The darkness hunger wasn't fed by other places, it wanted for more, and was now upon them. Their realm, and kingdom. It put a bitter, sad ache deep in her chest that this too should be taken from them. With the call of her leader, and Death tainting the air what else was there to do? This wasn't an enemy to put in place, as she had yet to see the faces, the causes of this new havoc and destruction. If Deimos was telling them it was unsafe, it left no doubt how deadly it was to remain. Faelene was not about to tangle with death again. At least without reason. With her sole belongings upon, honey badger armor with red things, and amulets tucked in a red velvet bag, she fell in line with those gathered. But, silver eyes did not need to look about to know there were many missing. The Thief was uncertain what that meant. Had they already made it to safety? Or were they lost? Taken by this strange foe. It was with a collected facade she wondered, making an effort to recall everyone that she knew should have been here. For now it was enough to keep back the remembrance of her own horror from past, and present in its place, deep down where it couldn't breathe to freely. This Sanctuary was unheard of, but she was eager to reach it. Once there maybe that was where the official head count would begin, and perhaps the truth of what was happening in Helovia now. If this was happening else where, someone could have witnessed something important. She felt rather useless having so little information. Forcing herself not to think of this as goodbye, she mad an effort to keep watch everyone was sticking close together for this new journey. |
