Her hooves moved swiftly, nimbly through the forest. her wings resting comfortably on her sides. The storm raged on overhead, enslaving Orva to the unusual terrain of the forest. Another crack of lightning rang through the air, giving the mare just another distant reminder of the dirt and pine needles underfoot.
Suddenly her head turned to the left, her senses alert as she heard something. It rang through the air like a crow's lonesome plea.
