It was quite depressing in fact, to see that the seasons had already changed over to Frostfall in her time tucked away in the rabbit holes. Even though it was quite nice to be somewhere away from the cold that came along with Frostfall, it was odd that even though their lives seemed to be placed on pause as they milled about wondering what was going on overhead, that the world was still turning with or without them. Sighing softly the mare told the red splattered stallion all that she knew about the wraiths, in the simplest terms that she could possibly put them in as it didn't seem like he was the most social of creatures. Nor the most understanding. Of course, she skipped on the part that these wraiths were in fact the ones held near and dear to others' hearts that were being infected with some odd disease that could only be healed by the waters in this very rabbit hole. Flicking her harks as she turned to face him the mare looked at his empty eyes once more and decided that not telling him all of the gory details involved in the disappearance of their homes was probably the wisest idea she had had in quite some time. The sound of the clearing of his throat was oddly loud against the silence of the tunnels around them, the lack of birds singing and the bugs buzzing about was something that even with being in hiding for nearly a season, Cheveyo wasn't used to it. She watched as the stallion's dark harks flicked back against his skull as her tongue clicked against the roof of her mouth and in response her own chestnut ones slammed back against her own. The stallion was taller than herself, but Cheveyo was no baby when it came to defending herself against larger creatures. In hopes to dissolve the tension that could have been cut with a knife, she introduced herself to the stranger. He fidgeted slightly, seeming quite uncomfortable with her speaking to him. But what else was she supposed to do? Chase him from her little cubby hole near the entrance into the masses of other equines that resided about twenty paces down the tunnel? That would surely cause his seemingly frail mentality to collapse even further than what it already was at. A look of surprise crossed over the mare's features when his bloodied kissers parted and a name slipped out. "Words words words."
