* not sure if I can do this, but basing it off of this section in the Guidebook:
"PASSIVE MAGIC | A passive magic ability is more restricted and is harder to receive in game. This type of ability can only impact the character’s self and no others. Passive magic is a constant ability that is not able to be consciously turned on or off. While this magic can be present in battle, it cannot be directed toward another character. The ability can weaken in battle as your character takes more damage. Examples of passive magic include: glowing coats or markings, the ability to live without a body part, immortality (though with a way to kill the character), invisible armor against one magic type, etc. Examples of abilities that are not passive include: crafting, eavesdropping, healing of others, illusory, mood altering, telepathy, shape shifting, etc."
