       The God of the Earth appears and Xira backs away with deference and reverence for the great being. Strange that she has at last found something to respect and someone to care for, and that they should both stand beside her now. She listens to the deity with great care and delicate attentions before turning to Andash and casting him a sly and tricky grin. He owes her a favor now, hopefully he understands how her system works.

Then again, a small part of her hates the fact that she thinks of it still as that. Is he not a friend? Why couldn't this simply be- a gift with no strings attached for the first time? "Now do you understand, Andash?" the roan spoke in an almost rhetorical tone, keeping her eyes focused on the ghostly pale stallion with the splatter of blood across his chest. "The God of the Earth is right," she started, nodding a thickly furred head and letting her navy gaze slip back towards the god, " but should you desire your wing to be fixed, I've provided you the opportunity."

Kye, at last seeming to sense reason within her master, ceased her anxious pecking at the moss and let it drop to the earth. Instead she twirled back around in a neat, flown circle back to Xira's wing where she then perched and twittered with satisfaction. Still, the falcon sensed an unwelcome change within Xira's attitude; it was disheartening to see her offer respect to anyone, god or mortal. As if to shoot the falcon down further, Xira then stepped forward and nodded her head slowly to the great being before them. "Thank you, Earth-Watcher, for this gift."
