Her hooves walked her across the surface again. The uneasy feeling within her stomach kept returning, never leaving her to rest. Wings fluttered against her side in fear and angst. Although the cave was filled with numerous opportunities for exploration and friendship, it seemed she lacked these things. In fact, more than ever, Elsa was feeling her sense of purpose dwindling away. It started with a little string until the entire fabric of purpose frayed away into strings that disappeared with the wind. Her feet shuffled along the ground, dragging them more than ever. The air was cool with winter, small, delicate flakes whipped through the air before landing on the cold ground and melting away. There was never enough snow to cover the ground it seemed like, just enough to get a taste and then it was gone. She moved across the ground, the hard, dead grass proving unsatisfactory in the food department. An indignant, annoyed snort escaped her nose and she stamped a hoof. Dammit, she needed to do something to prove her self-worth. A harsh, broken whinny ripped from her throat into the cool night air. May it bring a formidable opponent, one who could at least make her feel what it was to live again. The ground beneath her trembled.
