Cheveyo
I went down, down, down as the flames went higher

Cheveyo wasn't quite sure what had caused her to have such a strong urge to get out of the caverns for the first time since she had made that beautiful sliding entrance. But whatever it was hadn't been able to be fought down, no matter how hard she tried to convince herself that it was better to stay hidden away like some damn prey animal. It didn't take long to get through the hordes of bodies that milled around in the sanctuary, the numbers were slowly beginning to dwindle in that part of the caverns as the others finally had their balls drop enough that they could explore. The disbandment of the herds had helped out a bit with that as well, there were no longer lines between who was ally and who was foe unless it was a personal beef, and no one had any kind of magic that would have gone along with being a healer or some kind of crafter. It was nice to see that she had a fairly good sense of what was going on medically with the herbs and stuff that she had learned during her time with the two legs.
Flicking her harks back against her skull and narrowing the orchid colored eyes that adorned her pale facade had been helpful in her quick exit from the rabbit holes. It seemed that no one wanted to get in her way, or maybe they figured it was her turn to guard the entrance once again. But as she grew closer and closer to the entrance it became obvious that whoever was supposed to be guarding today was slacking off on their duties as there wasn't a soul in sight. Snorting and shaking her skull once the mare pushed back the annoyance that had begun to grow over in incompetence of the others, ivory dipped limbs struck out easily as her painted frame grew closer to the slope she would soon have to climb. It didn't worry her though, if she took it slow and easy, just placing one hoof in front of the other instead of acting like a bone head and trying to run up the slippery rocks then she would have no problem what so ever.
As she had expected, the slope wasn't half as horrible as it was made out to be, her hooves only slipped out from under her once and the impact on her knees wasn't even half as horrible as she had expected it to be. Unlike the stallion whose name was Aaron, her knees didn't begin pouring the precious ruby fluid from the little scrapes from the abrasive rocks. Once her hooves touched down on the grass that didn't glow the painted lady warrior allowed them to fly in the air for a moment or two in excitement for finally being free of all the stone enclosures. Finally, she was free. It was at this very moment that the sound of someone calling into the air for someone reached the mare's chestnut harks. Someone calling for a fighter, someone that would be able to throw a few good kicks and knew how to use their already cracked and stained ivories to their advantage. A wicked grin cracked across the painted mare's features as a slightly crazed light flickered in the back of her pinked pools.
It had been too long since she had felt another's flesh breaking under the pressure of her ivories or heard the satisfactory "thud" of horseflesh meeting horseflesh. Tossing her skull into the air the lady warrior let loose a war cry as she headed in the direction of the caller. She was coming and she was going to give them just what they were looking for. Ivory limbs stretched out into an easy yet ground eating canter that would have her to the Battlegrounds in little to no time at all. Excitement coursed through her veins as the adrenaline slowly began to build up as she made her way over there, this was what she was looking for. The high she gained from battles was intoxicating and it never failed that Cheveyo would take a battle no matter what, even if the beast challenging her was five hands taller than herself and a fucking powerhouse. She would at least try.
But today her opponent wouldn't be creature a million times larger than herself, as her yellow painted hooves hit the dry, dusty ground of the arena her pinked pools settled upon the ivory frame of the only solitary form in the entire place. Clearly this broad was the one who's call she was here to answer, pink pools drifted over the white winged creature's frame as she grew closer and closer. She was a little less than a hand taller than Cheveyo, but a much more slender build than herself. They both had pros and cons against each other, but the lack of scars on the mare's pretty pelt made the paint's nose crinkle up a bit. She was here to introduce this girl into the world of fighting? So be it.
"You called?" the two words dripped from her tongue easily as her dusted limbs pulled together beneath her.
