HEART SICK_AND EYES FILLED UP WITH BLUE

Hooves whispered unnoticed over the cool stone of her prison as Sacre came forward. Distracted as she was with her self pity she hardly paid any mind to the going ons around her, the blue of her eyes staring at the small window to the outside world with a glassy distance to them. She was searching for something out there - freedom, hope, answers, Mesec...

"Uhrm"

The voice was drowned by the click, click, clack of the stars pivoting, the sound of time wasting away into darkness.

"Are you okay?"

Okay?
Okay?

Okay?

Okay?

Ampere arose as if from a dream, and for that her anger was palatable at being woken. The first to turn was her gaze, the striking blue rolling to the edge of her eye socket where she beheld the foal in all his youthful awkwardness. The next to shift was her head, its speed alarming as it whipped around on the length of her neck, dislodging the unruly order of her mane into a different unruly slope. She did not move after that though, not even her feathers stirred. Instead Ampere continued to hang on the wall, her back legs spread and her front ones crossed, almost drunken in a way.

She did not say anything for a moment, just offered Sacre a long and hard stare. Perhaps her lips twitched a time of two, but her gaze held steady and cold. "What if I'm not?" she asked at long last, the question surprisingly calm and lighthearted. So much so she even began to crack a grin, though the mirth did not touch her eyes which made it seem weirdly disconnected and almost mad.

"What would you do, if I'm not okay?" she asked again, her tone rising though, the words of someone in disbelief. "None of us are OKAY!" she hollered suddenly, all her feathers abruptly bursting into twice their size. Her head snaked back around, an audible click whistling through the cave's air as her teeth set together sharply. "None of us are okay," she said again, softer, almost sobbing, as her feathers all settled back against each other, sleek and smooth.

"Are you okay kid?"
