She just kept returning to these terrible hieroglyphics. The pictures etched into the stone haunted her dreams. Elsa wanted to know so much, yet, question floated about her head like flies. It kept buzzing, keeping her awake. So here she was, presumably it was night. The last she had remembered is that when she was headed away from the sanctuary, she caught a glance of the outside. The sky was painted with beautiful pinks, purples and blues. The canvas was impossibly large, and the gods were away painting in the nighttime. Her eyes caught on a particular image. It was an image, depicting some sort of mythical creatures. Before them seemed to be a dark cloud, nothing, it swirled about them. As she looked to the next, a form started to take shape out of the darkness. In the next, trees were forming, more animals were present, and more horse figures appeared. Elsa began to wonder if this is how everything started, if out of darkness, this was world was born. So was this darkness drawing them back out? Was the world ready to return to darkness? A perplexed snort was released from her pink muzzle as she titled her head. Nothing was there to provide help except for the bubbling fountain not far off. It's crystal water carving away at the stone around it. She wondered how long all of this had been down here, and how it seemed that not until the world was near it's end that they would be shown such information. She wondered about what the dwellers within here had to do to make everyone so angry. [@[Africa] sorry it's a little short! ^^] |
