Chest heaved as he did his best to catch his breath, his eyes gazing upon the white mare as she danced into the cave shortly behind him. She was very interesting, in hue, in breed and in actions. She came to a place of hybrid species, blended in a way of different race and religion. Curious to where she had come from, he thought to ask her that question; but shrugged it away as he watched her move through the shadows of the cave. She inquired about the winged mare, as his crimson gaze turned to search for her ivory form in the entrance, lobes flicked forth listening to a stride of hooves, but were met with silence and his own pounding heart within his chest as he snorted and shook his head returning his gaze to Coika. Tired, trembling, she fell to her knees and rested upon the cool cave floor. As she laid to rest, her doll eyes closing to the peaceful flow of the waterfall. A hidden smile played upon his lips as he only envied the mares innocents; to be able to lay down so comfortable among strangers, no fear or worry, but wounded. Walking closer to the mare, he gave her wounds a once over but kept his distance, remembering their awkward embrace. Instead, he walked to the falls, limbs shuffling through the cold waters alight with a mysterious glow. Velvet lips traced the surface of the water as the cool liquid trickled down his throat. It was refreshing, but too cold to stay within it for too long. Muscles flexed, and his bones heaved as he pulled from the waters. Droplets falling from his legs and rump as he danced across the cave floor; as he shot a final glance to the ivory mare that he would leave sleeping upon the cave floor. And with that, he vanished into the shadows of the caves. Ooc: Sorry to cut this short and have him leave her sleeping there.
