Now that the darkness seemed to be leaving Helovia, the young roan and her bonded quickly were ready to be rid of the caves. They had been so confining and constraning.... Not to mention not good for Kiara's mental health. It had not helped of course, that the fem was trapped in the caves with the colts that murdered her son Malachi... Sure, she really had not loved the boy as she should of... But he was her son... Now he was dead. With a sigh the roan had choosen not to return to the Edge. To many memories both good and bad. She wanted a clean start. Keiran could not think of anything better for his bonded than just that. She would miss the Qian, and in her heart she would always call them family. But it was not the same. She had hidden from many of them for so long most of them wouldn't know her if they saw her. Those that did, well, they would be very few. She had bled for the Edge, but that would not matter. The other reason she moved on, was in her heart she had to know if Breeze would come looking. The fraction of a moment they had before the Darkness proved he still cared... But did he care enough to find her now? Was he even still alive? Either way, she wanted to know. Keiran on the other hand, wanted her to forget the winged brute and move on. Find one that was there and would care for her. After all, he only wanted the best for his bonded princess. At least she was a princess in his eyes. Together they followed the sounds of voices leading across what was once the Foothills. Clearly the God of the Earth had changed the lands, or the darkness had. No matter. Not only that, it seemed that new leads were taking over as well. She hung in the back, Keiran at her front hooves as she listened to the painted pegasus speak. He was announcing positions. Oh how her heart still ached to be a lead healer. If she could ever gain her magic, maybe she would be of help. Till then, she was just another face in the crowd arriving to a herd meeting late.
